CMU team wins at FAIPA HACKATHON!

Team Ceberus from Chiang Mai University won the second runner-up prize and the prize money of 10,000 baht at the FAIPA HACKATHON! The won it for their idea on the analysis and crisis management of wildfire problems using satellite and big data technologies. The five members are:

1. Pichparnee Boonpradab, from the Environmental Science programme, Faculty of Science (Student ID: 620515005),
2. Tanadol Deachprapakorn, from the Computer Engineering programme, Faculty of Engineering (Student ID: 630610734),
3. Panupong Kiaengkham, from the Data Science programme, Faculty of Science (Student ID: 620510695),
4. Pongsakorn Rattanapan, from the Computer Engineering programme, Faculty of Engineering (Student ID: 630610749), and
5. Wan Wiriya, from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, and the Environmental Science Research Centre (ESRC).

The event was held during January 8 – 16, 2022, by The Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) with Dr. Anon Sanitwong Na Ayutthaya, former director of GISTDA, as one of the experts on the judging panel.
