Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University Visits Mae Fah Luang University to Foster Collaboration and Enhance International Competency.

On May 23, 2025, the Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Wasan Panyagaew, Dean of the Faculty, along with the executive team and staff, conducted a study visit to Mae Fah Luang University in Chiang Rai Province. They were warmly welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Romyen Kosaikanont, Vice President, and Associate Professor Dr. Natthakan Rungraeng, Assistant to the President, together with the university’s administrators and staff.

The visit provided an opportunity for the CMU delegation to learn about MFU’s strategic approaches to internationalization, particularly in areas such as the recruitment and support of international students, the holistic development of student quality, and the implementation of a modern, efficient administrative system that meets the demands of the digital age.

Moreover, the executives and staff from the Faculty of Social Sciences engaged in meaningful exchanges with teams from MFU’s International Affairs Division and Student Development Division. These sessions allowed both parties to share best practices and valuable insights into academic management and student development from a comprehensive perspective.

This study visit not only enabled participants to learn directly from a successful and forward-thinking institution but also served as a platform to build a strong collaborative network between personnel of both universities. The exchange of knowledge, skills, and experiences is expected to contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of work and driving sustainable organizational development.

This initiative marks another important step for the Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University, in modernizing its management systems, promoting internationalization, and equipping its personnel with the competencies needed to respond effectively to global changes and contribute to sustainable societal transformation.
