Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony (MOU) between the Faculty of Social sciences, Chiang Mai University and the Faculty of Geography, Yunnan Normal University

On 23 January 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Wasan Panyagaew, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University (CMU), along with Assistant Professor Dr. Chanida Suwanprasit, Deputy Dean for Research and International Relations, Assistant Professor Dr. Phaothai Sin-ampol, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Internationalization, and Assistant Professor Dr. Liwa Pardthasong, Head of the Department of Geography, warmly welcomed Professor Hu Jinming, President of Yunnan Normal University (YNNU), Professor Dr. Guangjie Chen, Dean of the Faculty of Geography, YNNU, and their delegates. Also in attendance were Ms. Lian Chen, the Director of the Confucius Institute, CMU, and her team.

The gathering marked the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CMU and YNNU. This MoU aims to strengthen and expand academic and research collaborations between Faculty of Social sciences, CMU, and the Faculty of Geography, YNNU, fostering a closer partnership between the two institutions.
