Smart Campus Management Center, Chiang Mai University Welcomes Study Visit from Provincial Electricity Authority
On July 19, 2024, Smart Campus Management Center (SCMC) warmly welcomed a study visit delegation from the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), led by the Governance and Sustainable Development Committee, along with PEA executives and staff.
During this visit, the delegation received a briefing on the operations of the Smart Campus Management Center. The objective was to exchange experiences and knowledge in developing organizations towards carbon neutrality together. Additionally, the group toured the central electric train station, CMU transit center, and the overall environment within the university premises.
This study visit marks a significant exchange of knowledge crucial for the development of both organizations. It aims to foster collaboration in sustainable development and enhance understanding of environmentally friendly energy use within the context of a smart city.
The delegation from the Provincial Electricity Authority expressed admiration for the achievements and progress of the Smart Campus Management Center in creating and implementing various projects focused on city management. These efforts serve as a commendable example of developing a city towards sustainable smart city status.
