*** We visited Gadjah Mada University and were accorded a warm welcome by Dr. Eng Ir. Laretna Trisnantari Adhisakti, Lecturer and Coordinator Faculty of engineering, Gadjah Mada University, and Ms. Alfatika Aunurilla Dini, Head of the international Affairs office. We express our appreciation for the hospitality extended to us during the visit, and to extend collaboration beyond the currently ongoing activities to strengthen partnership between both universities, particularly in relation to exchange programs for students. And there was a lecture about Batik textiles in Yogyakarta including the histories , businesses and awards. In addition, we were discussed and exchanged the knowledge on that topic as well.
The visit took place on 2nd November 2023.
** Faculty of Social Sciences has awarded the scholarship to the students to participate as outbound exchange students in short-term academic activities abroad through the “ASEAN++ Travelling Project 2023”. This project aims to increase global and intercultural citizenship skills, and academic skill through activities as well as promoting cooperation with foreign agencies under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
