His majesty has devoted himself almost entirely to his numerous development projects, evidence of his keen interest in the welfare of the Thai people. His gracious kindness has been extended to Chiang Mai University in many forms since the time he came to declare the opening of Chiang Mai University in 1965 until it has advanced to its present state.
Ultimately, the university aims for all the buildings to be concrete evidence of loyalty that all members of Chiang Mai University have for His Majesty.
