Corporate Communication and Alumni Relations Center (CCARC)
On September 6, 2025, the Youth AI-Preneur event was held at La Mai Hotel, hosted by the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization in partnership with the Chiang Mai Development Working Party on Innovation, led by the CMU International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI).
The event's goal was to "Enhance AI skills, Spark Business Ideas and Foster Next Generation Chiang Mai Entrepreneurs." It was officiated by Associate Professor Dr. Rattasit Sukhahuta, Vice President of CMU. Assistant Professor Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of ICDI, provided an overview, and
Mr. Porakrit Saihassadee, Vice President of the Chiang Mai Chamber of Commerce, offered his congratulations.
This initiative seeks to inspire high school and university students in Chiang Mai and enhance their global competitiveness through the development of marketable skills,
AI proficiency, and innovative and entrepreneurial thinking. Future plans include expanding the program to a virtual format within the next year, which will include online lessons, testing,
and the use of generative AI to ensure fair and accessible digital transformation for a wider audience.
