First Offsite Council of University Presidents of Thailand of 2023

Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, CMU President and Chair of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT), presided over the Offsite Council of University Presidents of Thailand 1/2023 themed ‘Student Development Paradigm Shift’ to promote and support student development activities, as well as ones aiming to foster morality among students and encourage exchanges in student affairs management across institutions, among others. This is to enhance mutual benefits for Thai universities and students who will enter the labour market and play a vital role in national development. Dr. Suvit Maesincee, former Minister for Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand, gave a lecture titled ‘Fostering Thai Youth Soft Power Ambassadors’. The event, held at Wellness Lifelong Education Hall, ECB1, CMU Faculty of Economics on April 9, 2023, was attended by vice presidents responsible for student affairs from 36 member institutions.
