On 7 October 2025, the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, organized the Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration 2025 at the college’s multipurpose area. The event aimed to promote understanding of Chinese culture and to strengthen the bonds among faculty members, staff, and students—both Thai and international.

The celebration was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of the International College of Digital Innovation, together with the administrative team, who warmly welcomed the participating students and extended festive greetings to everyone attending.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is one of the most significant traditional Chinese celebrations. It is held on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month to mark the harvest season and express gratitude to the moon, which symbolizes abundance, happiness, and family reunion. During this festival, people traditionally offer fruits and mooncakes to the moon, admire its beauty, and spend time together with loved ones as a gesture of love, unity, and togetherness.

The event featured a variety of engaging and culturally enriching activities, including storytelling about the origins and legends of the Mid-Autumn Festival, quiz games with prizes, and interactive activities to build friendship among students. Participants also enjoyed tasting traditional mooncakes and admiring the beautifully decorated venue adorned with colorful Chinese lanterns, creating a warm, joyful, and friendly atmosphere filled with smiles and cultural harmony.
