On August 20-21, 2024, the International College of Digital Innovation organized a hands-on workshop titled “Design Thinking for Being Innovative at Work” for supporting staff. The event was held at the 3rd-floor conference room of the CMU Health Center. The workshop was officially opened by Assistant Professor Dr. Chaiwut Tangsomchai, Deputy Dean of the International College of Digital Innovation, who delivered the welcome address. The workshop featured lectures from Associate Professor Dr. Prathana Jaiphong, Director of the College of Lifelong Education, and her team, who served as the keynote speakers. The primary goal of the event was to help participants understand and apply the principles of Design Thinking to develop solutions for organizational challenges or personal life issues. The workshop attracted 30 participants.
On the second day, Assistant Professor Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of the International College of Digital Innovation, and Associate Professor Dr. Somchai Sriyab, Deputy Dean, attended the session to listen to the presentations on the brainstorming results from the college’s staff. The presentations demonstrated the application of Design Thinking, and awards were presented to the top three teams with the highest votes.
