Two teams from the CMU Faculty of Architecture won at the national round of the 5th Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macao - Greater Bay Area - ASEAN International Colleges Design and Construction Competition with the theme of ‘Half Pavilion.’ They will represent Thailand in the final round of competition, joining university students from Guangzhou, Beijing, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Laos to put their ideas to reality at Nansha Bird Park in Guangzhou, China.
The winners were from Team Hansa, which included members Mr. Pisan Phetphut, Mr. Tonnam Chainan, Miss Kunnapha Temsuk, Miss Hansa Pitpha and Miss Thamonwan Saengcharoen, and from Team The Day Dreamers, which included members Mr. Kueakit Wianghok, Mr. Phonnawee Treethan, Mr. Siraphop Maneewan, Mr. Nithit Khamphirapawong, Miss Janya Daengboonrueang and Miss Kunakon Panyadee.
This year 18 teams from CMU, Bangkok University, Thammasat University, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok, University of Phayao, and Rangsit University participated in the national round of competition, which was organized by the School of Architecture of South China University of Technology, Guangzhou Nansha Bird Park, and Southeast Asia Designer Alliances (SADA) in partnership with the CMU Faculty of Architecture.
