The International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI) conducted a firefighting training workshop and fire evacuation practice on September 22, 2023, at ICB Room 1211 at the ICDI Building. We were honored to have Mr. Udom Baocharoen, Mr. Sumet Sorasak, Mr. Suphakit Chaiyawut, and Sgt. Phakhin Maneewan, our guest speaker from the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office from the Chiang Mai Municipality.
The workshop covered topics such as "Fire prevention and mitigation" and "Fire extinguishing plans," along with practical exercises simulating fire evacuation scenarios. This training aimed to provide participants with a better understanding of fire hazards, knowledge of basic fire extinguishing equipment, and proficiency in fire evacuation procedures. It also emphasized the importance of disaster preparedness and the handling of disaster victims during relief efforts.
A total of 30 staff participated in this training session, which aimed to enhance their awareness and readiness to protect both their agency's assets and themselves during fire-related incidents.
