On September 3, 2025, the International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University (ICDI-CMU), organized an orientation for new students under the Advanced Placement Program (AP Program) to prepare them for academic learning and university life. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

The AP Program aims to strengthen digital and English skills for those interested in digital innovation and wishing to pursue further studies at ICDI or other programs at Chiang Mai University. Students participating in the program are eligible to transfer credits upon admission to Chiang Mai university programs (subject to conditions). The program also provides a strong foundation to help students begin their higher education journey with confidence.

During the event, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Yahya Dawod, Deputy Head of the Digital Innovation Academic Division, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the college, encouraging new students to pursue their studies with determination and success. In addition, Mr. Pirapong Wongsansi and Dr. Zhai Fan provided essential information about the study plan and program requirements to ensure students gained a clear understanding.

The program also featured self-introductions and a Q&A session, creating a friendly atmosphere that encouraged new students to get to know one another while building connections with the faculty team. This orientation marked an important beginning for new students in the AP Program and reflected ICDI’s commitment to supporting students in achieving success both academically and personally.
