On April 23, 2025, a delegation from the Multidisciplinary Research Institute of Chiang Mai University, led by Professor Emeritus Dr. Sanchai Jaturasitha, Director of the Institute and Head of the Center for Research in Food for Health, along with research members, visited the Yunnan Baiyao Group Co., Ltd., one of China’s leading herbal medicine manufacturers.

This visit focused on learning about the production processes of traditional Chinese herbal products, which adhere to international quality standards. It also provided an opportunity for the delegation to exchange knowledge in research and development (R&D) in the field of traditional Chinese medicine—an area of expertise with significant potential for application within Thailand’s healthcare system.
