CMU Partners with ONWR to Advance Sustainable Water Management in Northern Region through Data and Research

On February 9, 2023, at the Office of the University’s Phraya Siwisanwacha Meeting Room, CMU and the Office of National Water Resources (ONWR) held an MOU signing aiming to advance sustainable water management in the northern region through data, research and personnel development, leading to water resource sustainability. Professor Dr. Pongrak Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, CMU President, and Dr. Surasri Kidtimonton, ONWR Director, attended the ceremony along with the executive teams of both parties.
Upon achieving the goals, CMU and ONWR recognize the importance of knowledge integration and incorporated data into water resource management and national development, as well as promoting research and technology and innovation that will address area-specific needs. The collaboration will also promote fair use of water, academic exchange and knowledge enrichment, leading to the transfer and application across different sectors.
