NurseCMU Dean Participates in SEANERN Seminar 2025 on AI Transforming Nursing Education

Assistant Professor Dr. Suparat Wangsrikhun, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, together with Associate Professor Dr. Phanida Juntasopeepun, Associate Dean, and Associate Professor Dr. Apiradee Nantsupawat, participated in the Southeast and East Asian Nursing Education and Research Network (SEANERN) Annual Seminar 2025, hosted virtually by the National University of Singapore (NUS) on 25 July 2025.

The seminar, themed "Transforming Nursing: Use of Artificial Intelligence in Revolutionizing Nursing Education and Research," focused on key areas such as training nursing skills, teaching communication and empathy, developing nurse researchers, and enhancing nursing scholarship. The seminar brought together participants from 12 countries across Southeast and East Asia, reinforcing the SEANERN community and mutual support among its members.

Chiang Mai University’s Faculty of Nursing has been a founding and active member of SEANERN since 2015. The Faculty has hosted several SEANERN conferences over the years, underscoring its continued leadership in advancing regional collaboration and innovation in nursing education.
