6 June 2025
Corporate Communication and Alumni Relations Center (CCARC)
Chiang Mai University, serving as the host institution of the Upper Northern region’s Cooperative and Work Integrated Education (CWIE) Network, hosted the 15th CWIE Day 2025. The event, held in collaboration with the Permanent Secretary Office for Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, centred on the theme ‘CWIE for Empowering People in the AI Era.’ The event, which took place on June 6 at Suthep Hall, Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel, brought together higher education institutions from across Thailand. It provided a vital platform for inspiration and knowledge exchange, emphasising the crucial role of CWIE in modern education. Mr. Supachai Jaisamut, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, officiated the opening ceremony. Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, CMU President, and Mr. Siwa Thamikanon, Vice Governor of Chiang Mai, delivered a welcome address to attendees, including executives from the Permanent Secretary Office, chairpersons of all nine CWIE regional networks, university administrators, staff and students from various institutions nationwide.
