Civil Engineering student receives medal of academic excellence from Engineering Education and Research Fund

Mr. Jirayut Sutsamoejai, a fourth-year Civil Engineering student, received the 2021 Medal of Academic Excellence from Engineering Education and Research Fund under the Royal Patronage of HRH the Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn. Top-ranked engineering students nationwide are selected by the Engineering Institute of Thailand to receive the honour and this year Mr. Jirayut is the recipient from CMU Faculty of Engineering with a GPA of 3.94. On this occasion, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Kasem Watanachai, Member of Privy Council, was graciously appointed by HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn to present the medals and plaques of honour. The ceremony was held at Sahathai Samakhom Pavilion inside the Royal Palace on February 23 this year.
