3E CMU Certified as a Climate Action Leading Organization (CALO) by the Thailand Carbon Neutral Network (TCNN)
Research Unit for Energy Economic & Ecological Management (3E) at the Multi-Disciplinary Research Institute, Chiang Mai University has been certified as a Climate Action Leading Organization (CALO) by the Thailand Carbon Neutral Network (TCNN). The certification was announced by the TCNN’s 4th Board of Directors Meeting on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
The certification is the result of the 3E commitment to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions. The unit has fully complied with the TCNN’s guidelines and standards, including the assessment of the unit’s carbon footprint, the setting of emission reduction targets, and the implementation of concrete plans to reduce emissions.
