MIdS CMU Welcomes Bureau Veritas (Thailand) Ltd.

Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School
On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, Associate Professor Dr.Apichat Sopadang, Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University, and Professor Dr. Puangrat Kaewlom, Associate Dean, welcomed representatives from Bureau Veritas (Thailand) Ltd.

Dr. Wichit Sopitanonrat, Country Chief Executive, Ms. Napitchaya Noppawannasakuldit, Head of Business Development, and Ms. Cherleil Jirathamrongwat, Sales & Business Development Assistant Manager, met with Professor Dr. Charin Techapan, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, to discuss academic collaboration.

The discussion focused on joint operations for the "Sustainable Beyond Net Zero Program," which is a part of the curriculum at Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School. This collaboration will also cover teaching, research, and academic services. The meeting was held at the M.L. Pin Malakul Reception Room, University Office 1 Building, Chiang Mai University.

Following the meeting, the delegation visited to Energy Research and Development Institute-Nakornping,Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai University (ERDI-CMU), to observe waste management and the integrated biomass management center.
