CMU President at ‘Keys to Success in Building Hub of Talents and Hub of Knowledge’ to Establish Thailand as a Hub of Science, Research and Innovation

Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, CMU President and Chair of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT), joined a discussion on ‘Keys to Success in Building Hub of Talents and Hub of Knowledge’, presided over by Minister Supamas Isarabhakdi of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). The event was held at MR 209 of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre on July 25, 2024, as a part of an MHESI fair titled ‘SCI POWER FOR FUTURE THAILAND’ which aimed to promote utilizations of higher education, science, research and innovation to drive the country’s sustainable economic development through interdisciplinary efforts. Also in attendance were Emeritus Professor Sirirurg Songsivilai, M.D., Chair of the Science, Research and Innovation Promotion Committee, Emeritus Professor Soottiporn Chittmittrapap, M.D., Chair of the Advisory Working Committee for the Development of the Hub of Talents and the Hub of Knowledge, and Dr. Wiparat Deong, Director of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), along with speakers, administrators, experts, researchers, guests and the press.
