CMU Honored with Awards for Model Lecturer in Teaching and Institutional Excellence in Lecturer Development

The Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (OPS MHESI) in collaboration with the Association of Professional and Organizational Development Network of Thailand Higher Education (ThailandPOD) hosted the 20th annual conference titled ‘Digital Transformation for Thai Higher Education: Enhancing Lifelong Learning Using AI’ held on March
20 – 21, 2025 at the Ambassador Hotel Bangkok. Professor Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, presided over the opening ceremony and presented the Model Lecturer Awards in Teaching 2025.
Among the recipients was Assistant Professor Dr. Watcharapong Naraballobh, from the Division of Animal Science, Department of Animal and Aquatic Sciences, CMU Faculty of Agriculture.
In addition to individual recognition, CMU was honored as a Higher Education Institution for Promoting Model Lecturer Development. Associate Professor Usanee Kumprakob, Vice President of CMU, accepted a plaque of honor on behalf of the university.
The Model Lecturer Awards in Teaching 2025 recognize lecturers who exemplify innovation and excellence in teaching, along with institutions that actively support them through policies that promote strong teaching performance, professional integrity, and the ability to build and sustain educational quality in higher education.
