MIdS CMU Signs Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School
On Monday, June 9, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Apichat Sophadang, Dean of MIdS CMU, presided over and delivered the opening remarks at the MoU signing ceremony. He also introduced the MIdS and outlined the objectives of the collaboration.
The signing ceremony marked the establishment of a partnership between 1O1 Health Club & Co Pilates Studio Chiang Mai and Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University, and was held at Room 2-202, Building 2, MIdS CMU.
The signatories included:
Associate Professor Dr. Apichat Sophadang – Deanof Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University
Associate Professor Dr. Jirakrit Leelarungrayub – Chairperson of the Graduate Program in Sports Science
Ms. Jinjuta Mahawana – Owner of 1O1 Health Club & Co Pilates Studio Chiang Mai
Ms. Kasarin Intui – Witness
Objective of the MoU:
To develop knowledge in Pilates with a focus on its applications in sports science, physical therapy, and sports medicine. The collaboration aims to enhance professional skills for the general public through training programs and various projects. It includes the development of practical, short-term Pilates courses that can be extended into specialized study programs for professional advancement.
The partnership also seeks to improve rehabilitation capacities, using Pilates to prevent, treat, and restore physical function in individuals with injuries or health conditions. Additionally, it supports health promotion activities for students, staff, and the public, including initiatives such as “Pilates for Athletes”, “Pilates for Recovery”, and future community outreach programs.
