5 June 2025
International College of Digital Innovation
On June 5, 2025, the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, organized a knowledge sharing activity under the theme “Stories from Daily Work to Innovative Success.”
The event was graciously opened by Ms. Pantinee Nestsupaluk, Secretary of the International College of Digital Innovation, who delivered the welcoming remarks and officiated the event.
The college was honored to host Mr.Kulangkun Putanametada, Computer Technical Officer from the Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University (MIdS CMU), and recipient of the National Outstanding Support Personnel Award for Innovation. He served as the guest speaker and shared his firsthand experiences in initiating innovations from his routine tasks.
The objective of the activity was to inspire participants and provide new perspectives on how innovation can emerge from everyday work. The key message emphasized that:
“Every routine task holds the potential for creativity, starting with identifying pain points and daring to think and act.”
He also highlighted that:
“Innovation doesn’t have to be grand; it can begin with small improvements in daily tasks, carried out through Agile processes.”
And for effective work practices, he shared:
“By setting clear goals, eliminating distractions, focusing on one task at a time, and being fully present, we can enter a state of Flow and consistently generate meaningful innovation.”
The event welcomed 25 participants from various departments and was held in a warm and inspiring atmosphere, encouraging attendees to apply the insights to their own work creatively and with tangible results.
