Indian Studies Center Chiang Mai University Organized a Book Launch named "Indian Community: Identity, Religion, and Economic Networks" on October 9, 2020 at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University. Being honored by Asst. Prof. Surat Horachaikul, Director of the Indian Studies Center Chulalongkorn University was the critic of the book, and there are Mr. Krishna Chaitanya, Consul of India in Chiang Mai, Associate Professor Rome Chiranukrom, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, Mr. Mohan Singh Gulati, President of Indian Community in Chiang Mai, Mr. Ranjeet Singh, Advisor to ISCCMU, Mr. Jirachai Srichandorn, Leader of Islam Indian Community in Chiang Mai, students and interested people attended.
This book is the output of a research project entitled “Cross Networking and Creating the Identity of the Indian Community in Chiang Mai through Religion and Economic Networks” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Arratee Ayuttacorn, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ariya Savetamra and Professor Dr. Yos Santasombat, who arranged that and this research had also created new knowledge for Academic and a guideline for further researches of Indian Studies.https://www.facebook.com/indianstudies.cmu/
