Congratulations to Lec. Dr. Wachira Suriyawong from the Public Health Nursing Department, Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, on receiving the Emeline Hamilton PhD Dissertation Award Endowment for the 2024-2025 academic year.

This award, established by Dr. Gwen Wyatt, is meant to acknowledge and provide support for exceptional dissertation work by Michigan State University College of Nursing graduates, USA. Eligible recipients are those who received their degree within one academic year of applying for the award.
Awardees are evaluated based on the following criteria:
• Evidence of the quality and rigor of the dissertation
• Significance of the research to the nursing profession
• Evidence of outstanding scholarship
• Originality and innovativeness of the dissertation
• Potential for publishing from the dissertation
• Potential as a career nurse scientist
.
Dr. Wachira will be honored at the Michigan State University College of Nursing Scholarships and Awards Gala on April 8, 2025, at the Breslin Student Events Center, Michigan State University (MSU), USA.
