Launch of the Bamboo National Cluster Platform and Collaboration Ceremony with the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC)

On September 20, 2024, the Faculty of Architecture, Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Worrasit Tantinipankul, Associate Dean for Research and International Relations, had the honor of delivering the opening remarks at the launch of the Bamboo National Cluster Platform and the collaboration ceremony with the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC). This initiative is part of the project, "Development of the Northern Economic Corridor Bamboo Industry Cluster through Spatial Networking Mechanisms to Enhance Production and Add Value Throughout the Supply Chain."
This event is one of the key activities of the 15th Annual World Bamboo Day International Conference 2024, co-hosted by the Faculty of Architecture, Chiang Mai University, along with Mr. Kamesh Salam, Founder and Director of the South Asia Bamboo Foundation, and Mr. Michael Abadie, President of the World Bamboo Organization (WBO).
We extend our gratitude to the Program Management Unit on Area Based Development (PMU A) for supporting the organization of World Bamboo Day 2024.
