MIdS CMU Hosts Cultural Event to Preserve the Traditions of the Pii Mai Mueang Festival
On Sunday, April 13, 2025, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University (MIdS CMU), organized an event titled "Songkran Festival 2025: Preserving and Promoting the Pii Mai Mueang Cultural Heritage”. The event was held for MIdS graduate students as part of the university’s mission to promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage passed down through generations.
The initiative aims to connect this cultural legacy with the new generation while also creating a space for learning, sharing, and strengthening relationships among students within the college. Activities took place at various historic and culturally significant sites, including Wat Lok Moli, Wat Sri Suphan, Wat Phra Singh Woramahawihan, and around the Chiang Mai moat area.
