The CMU Faculty of Agro-industry received the prestigious Thailand Quality Class (TQC) Award 2023, presented by the Thailand Quality Class Office of the Thailand Productivity Institute (FTPI), within the Ministry of Industry, to honour management excellence. The Minister of Industry, Ms. Pimpattra Wichaikul, presented the awarded to Assistant Professor Dr. Sujinda Sriwatthana, the Dean of the Faculty, on March 6, 2024 at the Main Hall of the Thailand Cultural Centre.
Faculty of Agro-industry strives for excellence in teaching, research, academic service and organisational management, incorporating the TQA criteria into their management practice to ensure systematic operation and good governance. This also supports the organization’s goal in fostering innovators and innovations, thus increasing the nation’s competitiveness in the agro-industry sector and driving the industry to the international stage. The key factors to success include the commitment and cooperation from all personnel to enhance productivity and create innovation, the prioritization of learners and service recipients, and emphasis on successful implementation.
Assistant Professor Dr. Sujinda expressed that, ‘Receiving the Thailand Quality Class Award is a great pride and honour for everyone in the faculty. It is a testament of excellent management practice and helps boost confidence in systematic operations, as well as the drive to improve. Ultimately, this will allow us to better deliver our values, as stated in our Vision of “Advancing Towards a Better Future.”’
