The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with the Institute of Tropical Biology and Conservation, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Malaysia held a Letter of Intent signing ceremony. We are honored to have Associate Prof. Dr. Fiffy Hanisdah Saikim, Director of the Institute of Tropical Biology and Conservation (ITBC) signing with Professor. Dr. Korakot Nganvongpanit, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University with Prof. of Practice Dr. Chatchote Thitaram, Associate Dean for Research Innovation and International Relations, serving as a witness to the letter of intent for this collaboration and led the signatories to visit the Museum of Veterinary Anatomy and Pathology on November 22, 2024 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University.
The signing of this MOU is intended to develop a framework for cooperation to jointly promote environmental conservation and create long-term research and academic training collaboration that will promote research and innovation in tropical biodiversity and conservation leading to effective management and resilience of important ecosystems together.
