International College of Digital Innovation Welcomed Students and Guidance Teachers from CMU Demonstration School to Explore the Digital Innovation Program

On August 18, 2025, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, organized the activity “Welcoming Students and Guidance Teachers from Chiang Mai University Demonstration School” at room ICB1102. A total of 23 participants attended the event to learn more about the Bachelor of Science in Digital Innovation (International Program).

The event began with a welcome speech by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Manad Khamkong, Associate Dean of International College of Digital Innovation. Participants then joined the session “Future Careers 2025”, followed by an introduction to the Digital Innovation curriculum, double-degree program, student activities, and admission criteria through TCAS and IPAS presented by Asst. Prof. Silp Singharachavaraphan and the ICDI academic services team. A special highlight was the “Senior Meets Junior” session featuring Ms. Khao Mrukpitak, an alumna of CMU Demonstration School and current ICDI student.

In the afternoon, students explored the Fablab and experienced hands-on demonstrations with drones, VR, Metaverse, and robotics, guided by ICDI faculty members: Dr. Worawit Thepsan, Dr. Nares Suyaroj, and Dr. Wasut Pornpatcharapong.

This activity not only enhanced participants’ understanding of the Digital Innovation Program but also strengthened connections with guidance teachers while providing students with first-hand learning experiences—serving as a valuable foundation for their future educational choices at International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University.
