International College of Digital Innovation Participates in the 9th TICC International Academic Conference, Emphasizing Global Leadership Through SDGs

On July 24–25, 2025, a delegation from the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI) participated in the 9th Thailand International College Consortium (TICC) international academic conference under the theme "Global Transformational Leadership through Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)." The event was held at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel in Bangkok.
The ICDI delegation was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ruchira Ouncharoen, Dean; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somchai Sriyab, Associate Dean; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Benjamas Suksatit, Associate Dean.

This year’s conference was hosted by the International College, Silpakorn University, and honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suman Sakolchai, Distinguished University Council Member, Vice President of Silpakorn University Council, and Prof. Dr. Thanaset Ngaohiranphat, President of Silpakorn University, who presided over the opening ceremony. The event also welcomed deans and representatives from all 8 partner international colleges in the consortium.

Five students from ICDI presented their academic research at the conference — including one master's student and four doctoral students — reflecting the college’s strong academic capabilities and international potential.

The closing ceremony featured a token exchange to celebrate the ongoing collaboration among partner institutions, along with a flag handover ceremony to the next host institution: International College, Naresuan University.

Participation in this international conference marks a significant step forward for ICDI in strengthening national and international academic networks and fostering global academic leadership through sustainable development.
