Mass Comm CMU Welcomes School of Journalism and Communication from China for Academic Exchange on Live E-Commerce and Student Exchange Opportunities

On Monday, August 5, 2024, the Faculty of Mass Communication at Chiang Mai University, led by Dr. Siwaporn Sukrittanon, Vice Dean for Research and International Relations, welcomed a group from the School of Journalism and Communication, Guangxi University, China. The group, led by Associate Professor Zhang Ming and including three graduate students, visited to engage in an academic exchange between Thailand and China.

The discussion focused on using Live E-Commerce to help farmers in enhancing the value of their agricultural products. Additionally, the meeting explored potential student and faculty exchange programs to advance the strategic goals of our faculty.

The group also toured our Live Streaming Studio and the Mass Communication Voice Radio Station. These facilities are well-equipped for producing media that promotes and markets agricultural products from local communities.

This visit marks an important step towards strengthening international academic connections between Chiang Mai University and Guangxi University, with plans for future collaborations.
