Design Workshop and Research Workshop Concludes - A Collaboration Between Faculty of Architecture, Chiang Mai University, and Kyoto Institute of Technology (KIT), Japan

On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, the Design Workshop and Research Workshop collaboration between the Faculty of Architecture, Chiang Mai University, and the Faculty of Architecture, Kyoto Institute of Technology (KIT), Japan, successfully concluded. Assistant Professor Dr. Pandin Ounchanum, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Chiang Mai University, delivered the closing remarks.
Throughout the project, participants developed and presented final design models and research findings, receiving feedback from professors of both institutions, including Professor Dr. Nawit Ongsavangchai and Associate Professor Dr. Apichoke Lekagul from Chiang Mai University, as well as Professor Dr. Kukuda Akira, Professor Dr. TAKAGI Massato, and Professor Emeritus Dr. Hiroaki Kimura from Kyoto Institute of Technology (KIT).
The project emphasized architectural design learning based on the history, lifestyle, and cultural traditions of Chiang Mai. It also served as a platform for academic exchange and strengthened the relationship between the two institutions.
