CMU Associate Professor Dr.Sate Sampattagul and colleague Attends Net Zero Emissions Conference in Taiwan
CHIANG MAI, THAILAND - Associate Professor Dr.Sate Sampattagul, Director of University Academic Service Center (UNISERV) at Chiang Mai University, and Head of Research Unit for Energy Economic & Ecological Management (3E CMU), recently participated in a conference on net zero emissions in Taiwan.
The conference, organized by YC Holding Inc. and Tai & Chyun, brought together experts from leading organizations in climate change policy and carbon market and pricing. Dr. Sate Sampattagul served as the coordinator for the Net Zero Emissions Cluster of the Program Management Unit for Human Resources & Institutional Development, Research and Innovation (PMU-B).
CMU research team's participation in the conference was part of a research project entitled "Landscape Study of Net Zero Emissions Target for Thailand." The project aims to develop training programs in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) management and carbon neutrality in Thailand, in alignment with the country's policies towards carbon neutrality and achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions.
