On May 28, 2025, the Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University, represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chanida Suwanprasit, Deputy Dean for Research and International Relations, attended the opening ceremony of the 23rd Asia-Pacific CHRIE Conference and 16th APacCHRIE Youth Conference, held under the theme “Strategies for Climate Action and Mitigation of Climate Change Impacts.” The event took place from May 27 to 30, 2025, at the Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
This participation highlights the Faculty of Social Sciences’ commitment to promoting international academic exchange and fostering collaboration with global institutions and researchers. It particularly emphasizes the importance of engaging with urgent global challenges such as climate change, which requires interdisciplinary and cross-border cooperation to address effectively and sustainably.
