LICMU Partners with UOW College to Launch Certified English Program in Chiang Mai

On May 8, 2025, the Language Institute Chiang Mai University (LICMU) is proud to announce the official signing of a Collaborative Agreement with University of Wollongong College, Australia (UOWC) launching a certified English language program that opens a direct academic pathway to the University of Wollongong.

This collaborative partnership offers students in Thailand and beyond a unique opportunity:
- An internationally certified English program delivered at LICMU
- Identical standards and curriculum as UOW College, Australia
- Significantly reduced costs compared to studying abroad
- An official certificate issued by UOW College
- And most notably, a guaranteed progression route at the University of Wollongong

Assistant Professor Sakorn Ruanklai, Director of LICMU, remarked, “This collaboration bridges global education opportunities with local accessibility. Students can now begin their journey to an international degree right here in Chiang Mai.”
