ICDI Visits Yunnan Provincial Energy Investment Group to Study Clean Energy Development

On October 21, 2025, the International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University (ICDI-CMU), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Benjamas Suksatit, Associate Dean, together with the delegation, visited Yunnan Provincial Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. in Shilin, Yunnan Province, P.R. China. The visit aimed to study the management and investment models of renewable energy enterprises.

The delegation was briefed on the company’s major clean energy projects, including solar, wind, and biomass energy, and learned about the integration of digital technologies to support sustainability and China’s Net Zero carbon goals. The study visit provided valuable insights and opportunities to exchange ideas for adapting such models to Thailand’s own energy and innovation development initiatives.
