Chiang Mai University presented with the Executive Excellence Award 2020

Chiang Mai University was presented with the prestigious Executive Excellence Award 2020, Thailand Quality Class: TQC 2020 by the National Quality Award Office, Thailand Productivity Institute, Ministry of Industry.
CMU’s President Clinical Professor Niwes Nantachit, along with Prof. Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol and Assoc. Prof. Usanee Kumprakob, Vice President of Chiang Mai University participated in the National Quality Award press conference, organized by the Thailand Productivity Institute of the Ministry of Industry. The National Quality Award Office was represented at InterContinental Bangkok on February 5, 2021.
Ms. Panuwat Triyangkurasri, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry was the chairperson of the 2020 National Quality Award press conference while Assistant Professor Dr. Atisan Vanupap, Director of the Thailand Productivity Institute and Dr. Piyabut Chonvichai, Chairman of the National Quality Award Committee provided reports and congratulatory remarks, with the formal award ceremony held on March 19, 2021 in Bangkok.
To support its excellence in organizational management, Chiang Mai University has introduced the TQA framework, a world-class standard in the education system that utilizes Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx).
This framework boosts the exchange of best practices between different departments, enabling improved integration of processes that creates added value for stakeholders and customers.
