CMU’s Researcher awarded Scholarship by National Institute of Health, U.S.A.

CMU’s Research Institute for Health Sciences, Dr. Sayamol Hongjaisi, was awarded a research scholarship by The Northern Pacific Global Health Fellows Program 2019 – 2020 that is supported by the National Research Institute for Health (NIH), U.S.A.
The scholarship was awarded for research on “Development of point – of – care testing for hepatitis C virus detection using reverse transcription loop – mediated isothermal amplification assay” with the objective to develop a simple and portable hepatitis C virus test kit and offers an opportunity for strengthening research collaboration between CMU’s Research Institute for Health Sciences and the University of Minnesota’s Medical School.
