Presentation ceremony of award-winning 3D-printed Creative Lanna furniture designs

Assistant Professor Dr. Pandin Ounchanum, Vice Dean for Academic and Foreign Affairs, CMU Faculty of Architecture, and executives from Siam Cement (Lampang) Co, Ltd and Concrete Product and Aggregate Co, Ltd attended the presentation ceremony of the Creative Lanna furniture designs printed using 3D concrete printing, which were the winner and the first runner-up of the Creative Lanna Street Furniture Design Contest. Mr Tai Rojratnachinda, Deputy Mayor of Chiang Mai, and community representatives received the winning designs on March 31, 2023, at the Mae Kha Canal, Mueang Chiang Mai.
The winners who had the chance to realise their designs realised were:
Winner: ‘Tung Lanna Bench’, exhibited at the front of the canal and the community pavilion, created by Team Arai Yang Ngai consisting of Areephan Siriphan, Nanthakan Bootruean and Atsadawut Khampherm from CMU, and
First runner-up: ‘Taan’, exhibited at the Yellow Bridge, created by Udomsak Khamla of Team Taan from the Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna.
