International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University Visits Wenzhou Medical University to Discuss Academic Cooperation and Student Exchange in Zhejiang Province, China

On June 7, 2024, Assistant Professor Dr. Benjamas Suksatit, Deputy Dean of the International College of Digital Innovation at Chiang Mai University, and her working group visited Wenzhou Medical University. They discussed academic cooperation and student exchange with Prof. Dr. Lin Geyin, Deputy Dean of the College of International Studies at Wenzhou Medical University. Prof. Dr. Lin introduced the university's international operations and expressed hopes for in-depth cooperation in clinical medicine, traditional medicine, humanities, language, and culture. She welcomed Chiang Mai University faculty and students for short-term and long-term studies, research, and exchanges to strengthen connections between China and Thailand.

Mr. Xu Di, Head of the International Cooperation Exchange Department, also welcomed the delegation. Before the meeting, Assistant Professor Dr. Benjamas Suksatit and her group visited the 1st Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University. They were greeted by Prof. Dr. Gao Zhihong, Director of the Medical Informatics Department, who showcased the hospital's use of technology in patient services and information management. Prof. Dr. Gao expressed his pleasure at the opportunity for Chiang Mai University students to participate in exchanges and short-term internships, focusing on information technology, smart medicine, artificial intelligence, and other fields to enhance students' international vision and innovative abilities.
