Chiang Mai University Library opens 24-hour reading area service during the mid-term examination period of Semester 1/2025, from August 18-31, 2025. Service areas include Floors 1-2 and Floor 3 of Library Building 1. Services provided are as follows:
1.Reading Area Service
Available on Floors 1-2 and Floor 3 of Library Building 1 only

2.Book Borrowing and Returning Service
2.1 Book borrowing-returning: After 9:00 PM, no staff available. Books can be borrowed through Self-Check machines or CMU Mobile
2.2 Electronic equipment can be borrowed before 9:00 PM

3.User Groups
3.1 CMU staff and students: Access via CMU Mobile or registered staff/student ID cards
3.2 Library members (Categories A, B, C, D) with membership cards: Access by card scanning
3.3 General public: 20 baht service fee, cannot use services after 9:00 PM

4.Security Measures
Building entry-exit uses fingerprint scanners for recording and monitoring 24-hour access, with security personnel on patrol 24 hours

Note: Snack coupons will be distributed to users during the 24-hour library service period from August 18-24, 2025, as part of library image promotion and user engagement activities.
