CMU Agricultural Development Foundation Holds Its 3/2025 Board Meeting
On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 09:30 to 12:00 hrs, the CMU Agricultural Development Foundation convened its 3/2025 Board of Directors Meeting at the Pongsk Aungsuksin Meeting Room, Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai University, with additional participation via the ZOOM online platform. The meeting was chaired by Professor Emeritus Dr. Pongsk Aungsuksin, President of the Foundation.
The board acknowledged the Foundation’s financial report and deliberated on several key agenda items, including:
Supporting student study visits to partner universities in Taiwan and cooperative education experiences in China.
Approving budget allocations to support the organization of international academic conferences by the Department of Animal and Aquatic Sciences, aimed at strengthening the capacity of faculty, staff, and students.
Awarding continuing scholarships from the Kaset Phat Fund valued at 200,000 THB each (50,000 THB per year) to four students annually from the Faculty of Agriculture and other faculties at CMU.
Reviewing the Foundation’s income generation plan and preparations for activities celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Faculty of Agriculture and the 11th Northern Agricultural Fair in 2027.
The meeting reflected the Foundation’s continued commitment to advancing academic excellence, supporting student development, and promoting sustainable agricultural innovation at Chiang Mai University.
