MIdS Hosts DECCLT2025 & ICDELE2025: Advancing Digital Education and Contemporary Chinese Language Teaching
On Saturday and Sunday, February 15–16, 2025, the Contemporary Chinese Language Teaching Program, College of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary Studies (MIdS), Chiang Mai University (CMU) successfully hosted the 1st International Conference on Digital Education and Contemporary Chinese Language Teaching (DECCLT2025) and the 1st International Conference on Digital Education and Learning Engineering (ICDELE2025). The event was held at Buildings 2 and 3, College of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary Studies, CMU.

The conference was officially opened by Associate Professor Dr. Rattisith Sukahut, Vice President for Digital Technology and Law, CMU. The event was also honored by the presence of:

The conference aimed to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and experience sharing in education, technology, and contemporary Chinese language teaching at both national and international levels. The event facilitated academic dissemination, research publication, and professional development for students, scholars, and experts in the field. It also fostered innovation and academic collaboration among educational institutions and global research networks.

The event attracted 162 participants, including:

Executives and faculty members from Yunnan Normal University
Administrators, faculty, and students from Chiang Mai University
Lecturers from Beijing Language and Culture University, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Mahidol University
Researchers from the Association for Digital Education and Learning Engineering, including faculty from Khon Kaen University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, and Mae Fah Luang University
The conference featured 90 oral presentations and 41 poster presentations, contributing valuable insights and academic advancements in digital education and Chinese language teaching.
