ICDI Welcomes Guardians and 8th Batch of Freshmen at Orientation Event

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, hosted an orientation program for the guardians and 8th batch of ICDI freshmen at the small meeting room of the CMU Convention Center. This year, ICDI proudly welcomes 150 new students from various nationalities into its vibrant and diverse academic community.

To formally open the event, a video message from Asst. Prof. Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of ICDI, was presented, warmly welcoming both students and their families. Following this, Asst. Prof. Dr. Benjamas Suksatit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Manad Khamkong, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somchai Sriyab (Vice Deans), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thacha Lawanna (Head of DIN School) shared their heartfelt greetings and expressed their commitment to nurturing the next generation of digital innovators.

The orientation featured a lively performance by the ICDI Cheerleading Club, creating an energetic and welcoming atmosphere. Representatives from various departments and organizations—including the Academic Affairs Office, Student Development Office, Student Union, Student Council, and ICDI’s diverse student clubs—presented essential information and opportunities for student engagement. Notably, the event highlighted the Dinovate Club, supported by the Builds CMU initiative, which inspires innovation and entrepreneurship among students.

ICDI proudly welcomes all new students into the ICDI family and sincerely thanks the parents and guardians for placing their trust in the college. With a strong focus on nurturing entrepreneurial skills and digital technology expertise, ICDI is dedicated to developing future leaders who will create meaningful impact and employment opportunities for society.
