Chiang Mai University Library Staff Awarded Scholarship from NUS Libraries to Join TULLIP Programme
Mrs. Orapan Kankonsue, Deputy Director of CMU Library, and Mrs. Tippawan Sukruay, Deputy Director of CMU Library, have been awarded a scholarship from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Libraries to participate in the Transforming University Libraries Leadership & Innovation Programme (TULLIP).
TULLIP is a professional development program designed for university library leaders across ASEAN (AUNILO) and other regions, offering opportunities for networking with library professionals and enhancing leadership and innovation skills. The program took place at NUS Kent Ridge Campus, Singapore, from January 6-10, 2025.
Program Overview
The program targeted over 30 participants, including:
Library leaders and administrators
Personnel responsible for management, staff development, and leadership training
Information specialists and professionals managing library projects
Participants engaged in workshops, discussions, and study visits, fostering a broad academic network and equipping them with essential skills to drive institutional success. The program emphasized hands-on learning, real-world case studies, and creative problem-solving for library innovation.

Ongoing Collaboration Between CMU Library and NUS Libraries
Chiang Mai University Library and NUS Libraries have maintained a strong academic partnership through the ASEAN University Network Inter-Library Online (AUNILO). Both institutions have actively engaged in joint conferences and academic collaborations.
Notably, from October 30 – November 1, 2024, NUS Libraries" executive team attended the 19th AUNILO Meeting in Chiang Mai, hosted by Chiang Mai University Library. This event further strengthened their academic cooperation, paving the way for continuous collaborative initiatives.
