NurseCMU Welcomes International Nursing Students for Exchange Program

The Faculty of Nursing at Chiang Mai University (NurseCMU) is pleased to announce the launch of the 'Different Perspectives, Different Cultures' initiative, part of our Student Exchange Program with foreign institutions. We are honored to host 20 esteemed faculty members, staff, and nursing students from Kagawa University, Miyazaki Prefectural Nursing University, Toho University, and Taipei Medical University. These participants will play key roles in various academic and cultural activities during the exchange program, scheduled from August 2-12, 2024.

The primary goal of this program is to enhance knowledge sharing and foster the exchange of nursing experiences among faculty members and students from diverse backgrounds. This initiative aims to enrich educational experiences by promoting English language skills, cultural exchange, and, most importantly, the development of lasting friendships.

The "Different Perspectives, Different Cultures" project benefits visiting participants and our students by providing invaluable opportunities for engagement with international peers. Your role in this interaction broadens global perspectives and encourages future academic cooperation across borders.

Assistant Professor Dr. Thanee Kaewthammanukul, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Chiang Mai University, expressed enthusiasm about the program: "We are excited to welcome our esteemed colleagues and students from Japan and Taiwan. Participants will engage in various academic and cultural activities throughout the program, including collaborative workshops, seminars, and cultural excursions. These activities are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the nursing practices and cultural nuances of both the host and participating institutions.
