Language Institute
The Language Institute, Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU), organized a training program titled "English Proficiency Development for Lecturers" in the northern region. The training focused on the course “English Reading and Writing Skills at B1 Level”, totaling 20 hours of instruction.
The program was held from May 22–24, 2025, at Lamphun Buddhist College, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, in Lamphun Province. Its objective was to enhance university lecturers’ competencies in English reading and writing, aligned with the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The training aimed to develop essential English skills such as academic communication, academic report writing, and the ability to comprehend novels and research papers effectively. Additionally, it promoted the building of academic networks and the exchange of knowledge among participating lecturers.
This initiative reflects a commitment to enhancing the academic quality of regional educational institutions and supporting the internationalization of Thai education in the future.
