CAMT and the Faculty of Engineering, CMU. Join hands to sign an MOU with Japanese companies to develop students' potential to the Japanese labor market.

College of Art, Media and Technology
The College of Arts, Media and Technology (CAMT), and the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with DAIO KAIUN RECRUIT Co., Ltd. from Japan. The signing ceremony took place at the Faculty of Engineering meeting room on July 14, 2025.
The MOU was signed by Asst.Prof.Worawit Janchai, Ph.D., Dean of CAMT, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thongchai Fongsamut, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Mr. Ozaki Seiki, representative of DAIO KAIUN RECRUIT Co., Ltd. Executives and faculty members from both faculties witnessed the signing.
This collaboration aims to strengthen and develop students’ capabilities, preparing them to enter the Japanese labor market. Key areas include Japanese language training, understanding Japanese corporate culture, and opportunities for internships and employment in Japan. Besides, the partnership also reflects CMU’s commitment to improving the quality of education and producing graduates who meet the needs of both domestic and international industries, particularly by opening new doors to future careers in Japan.
